All I have to say is why WordPress, why? All of a sudden this new editor appeared on all of my websites. It’s not fancy nor intuitive nor do I believe it works any better than the vast array of current page builder plugins yet for some strange reason it is automatically present now on all of my WP platforms. I really hope the Gutenberg creators paid you the big bucks WordPress because as a WP developer, I am not happy about the change.
If you are like me and have had functionality issues because of the switch to Gutenberg as the default WordPress page editor, there is this amazing plugin that I have tried and tested on most of my sites now and it seems to work well with minimal effort (obviously this will vary depending on your site). 200,000+ active installs so far WordPress – this should tell you something.
